Activits Manoj Jarange-Patil starts his hunger strike

Quota activities Manoj Jarange Patil on Saturday once again sat on hunger strike for Maratha reservation at Antarwali Sarati village in Ambad taluka of the dustrict.

Due to the code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections, the fast date was changed from June 4 to June 8.

Talking to newsmen at village Antarwali Sarati after starting his hunger strike, Jarange Patil demanded that the state government implement the Sagesoire Ordinance (Close Relative).

At this time, he also warned the government. "If our demands are not met, we will not remain without fielding 288 candidates of all castes and religions in the coming assembly elections, and we will overthrow the government, he said.

He further said, "My appeal to the entire Maratha community is to live in peace. Some statements have been made deliberately against our movement.

Jarange Patil said, Our only demand is that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis implement our demand for the for the Sagesoyre Ordinance immediately. It is for this demand that I am going on a fast once again today. If the government needs some evidence to pass this law, as many as 57 lakh Kunbi records have been found," said Jarange Patil.

Home Minister Fadnavis had said that we would withdraw the cases filed during the Maratha agitation in the state.

However, not a single case has been withdrawn. There are many topics in this. We want the government to accept our demands. Statements were given on behalf of the government. However, I respected the code of conduct. Fasting on June 4 was done on June 8, he added.
