Issue of over 82K Kunbi certificates in Beed sets record in Maha

The district has created a record by issuing the highest number of over 82,000 Kunbi certificates to members of the Maratha community.
Under the guidance of District Guardian Minister Dhananjay Munde and under the leadership of district collector Deepa Mudhol-Munde, more than 27 lakh Kunbi records have been checked so far and as many as 82,545 people have been given Kunbi certificates till date.
Interestingly, this figure is highest in entire Maharashtra.
In addition to this, about 8-10,000 certificates are under verification, according to information released by resident deputy collector Shivkumar Swamy on Sunday.
