BJP's victory in UP confirmed in 2nd phase: Swatantra Dev

Uttar Pradesh Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh on Friday claimed that the wave in support of National Democratic Alliance (NDA), under the leadership of Narendra Modi, has been confirmed in the second phase of Lok Sabha polls, after the voting trends of the first phase.

Talking to reporters along with Minister of State for Cooperatives (Independent Charge) JPS Rathore at the party's state headquarters, Singh said that the public has now made up its mind to bloom lotus on all the 80 seats of the state.

"In both the phases, the public has wiped out the opposition," he claimed.

He said that the enthusiasm of the public during the second phase of voting was worth seeing. "BJP is winning in all the eight seats in the second phase with a huge margin as the support of poor, youth, Annadata and Nari Shakti is in favour of BJP. Even in this phase, the public has clean bowled the corrupt alliance to zero. BSP, Congress and SP have all been destroyed. The public has rejected the false propaganda of SP and INDI alliance," he said.

The Minister said that the public has come to know about his false promises and announcements of the opposition's alliance.

"The dubious intentions and policies of their leaders have been exposed. It has worked to thwart the efforts of the opposition to divide the society in the name of caste, creed and religion," he said.

Minister R K S Rathore said that like 2014 and 2019, lotus will bloom again in Western UP and Braj and the public support to BJP will become stronger in the coming phases.

"We will be successful in winning 80 out of 80 seats," he added.
