This time, the Chief Minister instructed the Mumbai Municipal Corporation to donate Rs 60 crore funds for the development of Mahalakshmi temple area. So the decision was taken in this meeting that Rs 220 crore for beautification of Mumbadevi temple, 35 crore for Jagannath Shankarsheth memorial and Rs 20 crore for Bhagoji Sheth Keer memorial.
Mahalakshmi, Mumbadevi, Haji Ali are ancient temples in Mumbai. Devotees should be facilitated for easy visuals while providing the funds required for their beautification. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde instructed to beautify temples in the area while developing Mahalakshmi, Mumbadevi temple.
Meeting for Assembly President Rahul Narvekar, Mumbai City Guardian Minister Deepak Kesarkar, Guardian Minister of Mumbai Suburbs Mangal Prabhat Lodha, MP Rahul Shewale, MLA Sada Sarvankar, Mumbai Municipal Corporation Commissioner I. S. Vilas Shankarshet, Jimmy Shankarsheth and Padmini Sheth from Chahal, Nana Shankarsheth's family were present.
