Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre Collaborates with National Burns Centre to Conduct Free Corrective Surgeries for Burn Survivors

The National Burns Centre, a holistic specialized center of excellence for Prevention, Treatment, Training, Rehabilitation & Research, relating to Burns, announces a two-day free corrective surgery camp on March 30th and 31st, 2024. This initiative aims to extend support to survivors by offering surgical interventions to restore functional mobility to limbs and bodies.

Participating expert plastic surgeons from Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune, are contributing their efforts and collaborating in this camp, marking a significant effort within the medical community. Dr. Guruswamy Vishwanath, HOD of Plastic Surgery at Dr. D.Y Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune, said, "The journey of helping burn survivors reclaim their lives is both humbling and inspiring. The camp, generously sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Bombay North and Deonar, epitomizes their dedication to humanitarian endeavors, fostering solidarity and compassion in advancing reconstructive surgery and patient care
