March 21, Mumbai, The Election Commission of India has announced the dates for the Lok Sabha General Election. These elections will be held in seven phases in total and for this, a model code of conduct has been implemented across the country since last Saturday. In case of violation of the code of conduct during this election period, ordinary voters can now complain directly to the Election Commission. Election Commission of India has developed Cvigil Citizen app for this purpose. Complaints filed on this app are being acted upon within the first 100 minutes.

Election candidates, administration and political parties are briefed on the dos and don'ts during the code of conduct period. But, sometimes this ideal code of conduct is violated. Reporting it is now easier than ever. The Election Commission of India has developed the Cvigil App to report or report code of conduct violations to the Election Commission and District Administration. Voters can now complain directly to the commission through this mobile app. As soon as a complaint is received on this Cvigil app, immediate action is taken on it. The name of the complainant is kept confidential.

This Cvigil app is available for download on Android and iOS devices. To report a violation, users simply need to open the app, select the type of violation, and provide incident details, location, time, and photos or videos. App users will be able to track the progress of their complaints.
