INITIATIVES TO PROMOTE THE CULTURE OF YOUTH PARLIAMENT
Besides the above, the Ministry has launched a web-portal of National Youth Parliament Scheme (NYPS) to increase the outreach of the Youth Parliament Programme to hitherto untouched corners and sections in the country.
The Union Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs organizes the following Youth Parliament Competitions in various educational institutions of the country:
- Youth Parliament Competition for schools under the Directorate of Education of Govt. of NCT of Delhi and Deptt. of Education of New Delhi Municipal Council;
- National Youth Parliament Competition for Kendriya Vidyalayas;
- National Youth Parliament Competition for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas; and
- National Youth Parliament Competition for Universities/Colleges.
None of the above Competitions are organized state-wise.
Moreover, the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs also provides financial assistance to States/UTs for organizing Youth Parliament Competitions as per the following limits, subject to receiving of the claims on completion of the competitions:-

Besides the above, the Ministry has launched a web-portal of National Youth Parliament Scheme (NYPS) to increase the outreach of the Youth Parliament Programme to hitherto untouched corners and sections in the country. Recognized educational institutions from all over the country have been allowed to register on NYPS portal.
