LS Election: Punjab CM Mann's road show in Kurukshetra

Chandigarh, Apr 9 Amid deafening slogans of "Jail ka jawab vote se" (Reply to jail is through vote), a reference to the arrest of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann participated in a mega road show in Haryana's Kurukshetra on Monday.
The road show was taken out from Jat Dharamshala and concluded at the Old Bus Stand, as Mann campaigned for Sushil Gupta, state President of Aam Aadmi Party and its candidate from Kurukshetra Lok Sabha seat backed by the INDIA bloc.
In the road show, workers and supporters of AAP and Congress from all parts of Kurukshetra Lok Sabha seat took part. There was a huge crowd of supporters at every intersection of the city and the public welcomed Bhagwant Mann by showering flowers all along the way.
The city of Kurukshetra came alive with slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Inquilab. In this, thousands of people gathered and pledged to Make INDIA bloc triumphant.
Mann, while thanking all the workers and supporters who reached the historic land of Kurukshetra, said BJP thinks that by arresting Arvind Kejriwal, it will destroy AAP. "But this is a misunderstanding on the part of BJP. You will imprison Arvind Kejriwal, but how will you imprison his thinking?
"Arvind Kejriwal is in jail but his mind is here. When his wife Sunita Kejriwal and lawyers go to meet him, they take the report. Today we will also take the report of Kurukshetra and this report should be such that he gets relief that my soldiers are standing firm," he said.
Mann said the manner in which public love is being showered proves that the public is ready for change. Such a fountain and fire of truth will emerge in Haryana, Punjab and Delhi that BJP people will keep watching. He said those who rule with their hearts rule the people, it can be said that even a chicken has a crown on its head.
"Earlier they used to clean houses with this Broom (Jhadoo) but this time entire India will be cleaned under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal. Manish Sisodia was put in jail, Arvind Kejriwal was put in jail, Congress's Bank accounts were seized, Hemant Soren was put in jail.
"They think that they will scare us, but they will scare the leaders. How will they scare 140 crore people?" said Mann.
