Maha CM reviews poll strategy for Kolhapur, Hatkanangle LS constituencies

Kolhapur, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday called a meeting of senior leaders of Mahayuti to review strategy of electoral campaign in Kolhapur and Hatkanangle Lok Sabha constituencies of the district.
Shinde arrived here this evening on a brief visit, met senior Mahayuti leaders in a city hotel and discussed the poll strategy of both Kolhapur and Hatkanangle constituencies, where Shiv Sena (Shinde) candidates Sanjay Mandlik and Dharyasheel Mane are respectively contesting as Mahayuti candidates.
In this meeting, Shinde entrusted responsibility of electoral campaigning to office-bearers of allies.
Meanwhile, in a related development, independent MLA Prakash Awade, who announced his candidature from Hatkanangale as independent, met Shinde for an hour and held talks on his candidature with the CM.
However, after this meeting, Awade firmly reiterated his stand on contesting elections from the Hatkanangale LS constituency and announced that he will file his nomination paper on Tuesday (Apr 16).
