MPCC chief slams Modi Govt

Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president, Nana Patole on Thursday took a dig at the Narendra Modi government, saying that Modi's engine has lost its steam while Rahul Gandhi's engine will take the country forward.

Talking to newsmen at Solapur after Maha Vikas Aghadi's candidate for the Solapur Lok Sabha constituency Praniti Shinde filed her nomination, he charged that Modi has led the country to decline in last 10 years and accused Modi of not fulfilling any of electoral promises made to people.

The MPCC leader further charged that Modi is the leader of corrupt leaders who have recruited other corrupt leaders from all parties across the country into BJP.

He accused BJP of spoiling the culture in the state by not only breaking political parties but also by breaking families.

To please Modi-(Amit) Shah, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar criticise Rahul Gandhi but all this will not work anymore, he said and pointed that through the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi learnt about the problems, pains and sufferings of all sections of the society and also received huge public support.

Patole alleged that BJP is a big obstacle in development of Solapur and called for its removal in this Lok Sabha election.
