Over 300 athletes participates in the Ezhimala Unity run organized by INA

Around 350 Athletes ranging from children to old from various parts of Kannur district and the nearby areas on Sunday participated in the maiden Ezhimala Unity Run at Payyanur organised by the Indian Naval Academy (INA), with the cooperation of the local administration and police.

Kannur, Feb 25  Around 350 Athletes ranging from children to old from various parts of Kannur district and the nearby areas on Sunday participated in the maiden Ezhimala Unity Run at Payyanur organised by the Indian Naval Academy (INA), with the cooperation of the local administration
and police.
The event was organised for the first time after Covid 19, to interact with the local people and build a sense of camaraderie and team spirit.
The athletes participated in the 10 KM, 5 KM, and 2 KM categories which started from the Payyanur gate of INA and culminated at a podium arranged in another gate.
A large number of men, women, and children from INA also participated in the event.
The run culminated with a display by various artists in a closing ceremony that saw yoga, Zumba, and an enthralling performance by the INA band. The prize winners were felicitated with awards and medals by INA Commandant, Vice Admiral Vineet McCarty, and Deputy Commandant Rear Admiral Prakash Gopalan.
