Prashant Hingorani of Indiana Group honoured with Udyog Ratna award
Eminent industrialist and managing director of Indiana Group, Prashant Hingorani, was felicitated with the Udyog Ratna award at the hands of NCP (Sharad Pawar group) president Sharad Pawar here on Saturday.
Pune, Mar 23 Eminent industrialist and managing director of Indiana Group, Prashant Hingorani, was felicitated with the Udyog Ratna award at the hands of NCP (Sharad Pawar group) president Sharad Pawar here on Saturday.
The award, given by Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), comprises of a shawl, citation and memento.
Speaking at felicitation function, Pawar said, "Coming from a small town such as Jejuri, Prashant Hingorani set up his business at a small scale and took it to the global scale through his determination and hardwork. Today this company has transformed itself into a giant player and its products are making inroads in international market. We are very proud of this achievement."
In reply to the award, Hingorani said, "... I accept this award humbly as a token of the work that I have done in the industrial sector. I look at it as an appreciation of my work."
