Punjab Guv greets people on Maha Shivratri

Chandigarh, Mar 7  Punjab Governor and Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Banwari Lal Purohit on Thursday extended greetings to the people on the sacred occasion of Maha Shivratri on Friday.
In a message, he said, “Maha Shivaratri, is the most auspicious and significant spiritual festival for millions of devotees of Lord Shiva and the day is observed with fervour and devotion.
May this auspicious occasion inspire noble thoughts of love, affection, amity and brotherhood in all of us”.
He hoped that the festival of Mahashivratri would prove helpful in infusing new zeal and enthusiasm in the lives of the people of the country and state by strengthening mutual brotherhood. “Let us pray to Lord Shiva to bless us with wisdom and courage to overcome flaws within”, said Mr Purohit.
