Punjab Minister adjudged 'Women Tourism Minister of the year'
Punjab Tourism Minister Anmol Gagan Mann was conferred 'Women Tourism Minister of the year' award on Thursday during an International event in Berlin (Germany) for her commendable role in the sector. Additionally, Punjab also won the Farm and Rural Tourism Award.
Chandigarh/Berlin, Mar 07 Punjab Tourism Minister Anmol Gagan Mann was conferred 'Women Tourism Minister of the year' award on Thursday during an International event in Berlin (Germany) for her commendable role in the sector. Additionally, Punjab also won the Farm and Rural Tourism Award.
The three-day event, jointly held by the International Tourism Boris Berlin (ITB Berlin) and the Pacific Area Travel Writers' Association (PAWATA), was attended by companies and organisations associated with the tourism industry worldwide.
Mann was honoured with the award for the efforts made by the Punjab government to promote the tourism industry in the state.
After receiving the award, she said Punjab has immense tourism potential, which only requires proper infrastructure and promotion, and her government is working diligently in that direction.
