The trough from Gangetic West Bengal to North Coastal Andhra Pradesh now runs from Cyclonic Circulation over North Odisha to East Vidarbha across South Chhattisgarh at 0.9 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre said on Friday.

Amaravati, Mar 15  The trough from Gangetic West Bengal to North Coastal Andhra Pradesh now runs from Cyclonic Circulation over North Odisha to East Vidarbha across South Chhattisgarh at 0.9 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre said on Friday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that the trough from East Vidarbha to North Tamil Nadu now runs from Marathwada to Comorin Area across interior Karnataka & Tamil Nadu at 0.9 km above mean sea level.
The cyclonic circulation over North Interior Karnataka & neighbourhood now lies over South Interior Karnataka & neighbourhood at 1.5 km above mean sea level.
The cyclonic circulation over Southwest Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood at 1.5 km above mean sea level has become less marked.
Lower tropospheric Southerly /South westerly winds prevail over Andhra Pradesh and Yanam.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam from March 18 to 21.
Light rain is likely to occur at isolated places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on March 20 and 21.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on March 18 and 19.
Hot, humid and uncomfortable weather is likely to prevail at isolated places in Rayalaseema during the next five days.
Dry weather is likely to prevail in Rayalaseema during the next seven days, in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next five days and in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next three days.
Rain occurred at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and dry weather prevailed in Yanam and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 40.8 degree celsius was recorded at Cuddapah in Rayalaseema on Thursday, the report added.
