Six people, including five members of a family, killed on the spot when the driver lost control and rammed into a roadside tree near village Shergarh in the Dabwali sub-division of Sirsa district, Haryana, police said here on Tuesday.

Sirsa, Jan 9  Six people, including five members of a family, killed on the spot when the driver lost control and rammed into a roadside tree near village Shergarh in the Dabwali sub-division of Sirsa district, Haryana, police said here on Tuesday.
According to the police, they were coming to Hisar to attend the funeral. They were identified as Banwari Lal of Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, his wife Darshana, his elder brother Karishan Lal, his wife Gudoo, his sister-in-law Chander Kala, and driver Subash Chander.
Police said that, at around 1pm, Banwari Lal and others left for Hisar in a car from Ganganagar. On the way, when they reached Hanumangarh city, Banwari Lal also took his elder brother Krishan Lal and his wife Chandrakala along in the car. After which, all six people left towards Hisar. When his car reached near village Shergarh on the Dabwali-Sangaria road at around 3 pm in the afternoon, the car suddenly went out of control. The collision was so strong that the car was blown apart.
SHO Shailendra Kumar said that after receiving information about the accident, the police reached the spot.
The bodies of the deceased were sent to the hospital for a postmortem. Initial investigation has revealed that the car was out of control. However, how the car went out of control is being investigated.
