BJP becomes world's largest democratic party: CM
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said on Saturday that with people from every section are joining the Bhartiya Janata Party, it has become the largest democratic party in the world.
Kaithal, Feb 25 Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said on Saturday that with people from every section are joining the Bhartiya Janata Party, it has become the largest democratic party in the world.
Speaking at BJP membership induction ceremony at Kapil Kamal office, he said that since its formation in 1984 with only two MPs, today BJP is the party with the largest number of MPs and MLAs in the country, he asserted.
BJP has formed government in 17 states and the country is also being led by BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said.
Under leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has become the fifth largest economy in the world, he added and expressed the party's resolve to make it the third economy in the world.
