Haryana: 2 Delhi police inspectors die in accident in Sonepat dist
Two inspectors of Delhi police died on the spot when they were travelling in a police vehicle and were hit by a Canter near the Kundli border in the Sonepat district of Haryana late Monday night, Police source said on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Inspector Dinesh Beniwal, who was posted to the Special Staff in the North West District, while Inspector Ranveer was posted to the Adarsh Nagar police station here.
According to the police information, after the collision with the canter, the bumpers of the police vehicle were blown off. Both the inspectors were trapped in the car. People reached the spot and informed the police.
The police also said they were rushed to the hospital, where the doctors declared them dead.
The bodies have been taken possession of by the police and sent to the civil hospital for a post-mortem. The police are investigating the accident.
