Man gets 1-day remand, his lover judicial custody in murder case
A court here on Saturday remanded a man into one-day police custody for committing the murder of his paramour's husband, while his lover was sent to judicial custody.
Kaithal, Dec 31 A court here on Saturday remanded a man into one-day police custody for committing the murder of his paramour's husband, while his lover was sent to judicial custody.
According to Police spokesperson, while investigating the murder case of a person, a team of Sadar Police Station arrested accused Hardeep, resident of village Sudkain Khurd in Jind district.
On evening of December 27, the victim Rajpal Singh went out for work and next day, his cousin Hawa Singh found Rajpal's body lying two kilometers away from the house.
Following which, a criminal case was registered at Sadar police station.
During preliminary investigation, it was revealed that accused Hardeep used to visit his relatives' place at village Maghomajri and met Pramila and soon, they fell in love with each other.
When Rajpal came to know about his wife's affair, he used to quarrel with Pramila on this matter.
Hence, Pramila and Hardeep planned to kill him.
As per the plan, Hardeep strangled Rajpal to death, it was stated.
