Congress MLA Raju Parve joins Shinde's Shiv Sena

Mumbai, Mar 24 (UNI) In another setback to the Congress party ahead of Lok Sabha elections, its MLA Raju Parve from Umred assembly constituency on Sunday officially joined Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena, after resigning from the Congress party.
Shiv Sena is likely to field him from Ramtek Lok Sabha constituency, but the grand alliance has not yet made an official announcement in this regard.
Parve has been interested in contesting the Lok Sabha elections for a long time.
There was a speculation that he will join BJP and recently, he had met Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at his official 'Devagiri' bungalow.
However, Parve joined the Shiv Sena in Mumbai, in presence of CM Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Ajit Pawar, Devendra Fadnavis.
