Amaravati/Hyderabad, Mar 10   A cyclonic circulation lies over South Interior Karnataka & neighbourhood at 1.5 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre said on Sunday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that on Saturday’s trough from Vidarbha to south Tamil Nadu across Marathwada & Karnataka at 0.9 km above mean sea level has become less marked.
On Saturday’s cyclonic circulation over south Odisha & neighbourhood extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level has become less marked.
Lower tropospheric South Easterly winds prevail over Andhra Pradesh and Yanam.
Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in the same area during the same time.
Hot, humid and uncomfortable weather is likely to prevail at isolated places in Rayalaseema during the next 72 hours.
Dry weather is likely to prevail in Telangana, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next seven days and in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on March 11-16.
Rainfall occurred at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema & Yanam and Telangana during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 40.9 degrees Celsius and 39 degrees Celsius were recorded at Anantapur in Rayalaseema and Mahabubnagar in Telangana on Saturday, the report added.
