Kakinada: 'Top 100 Global powerful women' award for JNTUK Registrar

Kakinada, Mar 23  JNTUK Registrar Prof L. Sumalatha was bestowed with the International award ` Top 100 Global powerful women in research excellence category.
The award was in recognition of her exceptional contributions and remarkable accomplishments in the field of quality education along with accompanying resources.
MC Stem EdUniversity, US has presented her the prestigious award.
Prof Sumalatha was felicitated at a special function held at the university here on Friday with Vice chancellor Prof GVR Prasadaraju as chief guest.
The Vice chancellor patted Prof Sumalatha describing her as a role model to women researchers and a matter of pride for the entire university.
University engineering college Principal Prof MHM Krishna Prasad , Vice principals Prof UV Rathnakumari and Prof K Mirasaheb were among those profusely honoured Prof Sumalatha with shawls and mementos.
