Mumbai: After scrutiny of candidature applications, 369 applications valid out of 447

Maharashtra Chief Electoral Officer office of the state has informed that the applications of 369 out of 447 candidates for fourth phase election in the 11 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state have been validated.

According to the official press statement issued on Saturday stated that, a total of 618 applications of 447 candidates had been filed till the last day of filing nominations.

During the scrutiny applications of 369 out of 447 candidates have been validated and 78 candidates applications were rejected.

Constituencies wise valid applications are Beed 55, Aurangabad 44, Pune 42, Ahmednagar 36, Maval , Shirur and Jalna 35 each, Raver 29, Shirdi 22, Jalgaon 20 and Nandurbar 16, the statement added.

Polling will be held on May 13.
