MVA to win 32-35 seats in Maha: NCP (SP) chief

State president Jayant Patil on Monday predicted that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) will likely win 32 to 35 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra in general elections.

While interacting with the party workers here after filing of nomination by Bajrang Sonwane from Beed, he said that in the country there is a huge wave to save the Constitution and ideas of Chhatrapati Shivaji-Chhatrapati Shahu-Jyotiba Phule-Dr B R Ambedkar.

As a result, people's opinion is now turning towards MVA, which is likely to win 32 to 35 parliamentary seats in the state, he expressed.

Targeting the ruling BJP, the NCP (SP) state chief claimed that they could not develop the district despite being in power for 10 consecutive years and accused them of inaction.

They have failed to fulfil responsibility given to them by the people of the district, he added.
