Addressing election rallies in Amravati and Solapur in Maharashtra, Gandhi said the ongoing Lok Sabha election is crucial for saving democracy and the Constitution. For the first time in the history of the country, a political party is attacking the constitution and working to end it.

"A BJP MP is publicly saying that the constitution will be changed after BJP returns to power. However, no power can change the constitution. Constitution is not a book but a document of rights of poor, tribals, dalits and common citizens," Gandhi said.

Gandhi warned that the Congress and INDIA Alliance will not allow anyone to change the Constitution.

Gandhi said Narendra Modi has not waived the loans of farmers in 10 years, but as soon as the INDIA alliance comes to power, a decision will be taken to waive off the loans of farmers. " n

A commission will be constituted for this and this commission will recommend that farmers will be given loan waiver, once or many times. There is no dearth of money in the country, the loans of billionaires can be waived, but the loans of farmers should also be waived," he said.

Gandhi alleged that the present BJP-led central government was collecting GST from the public, and putting the money in the pockets of a handful of industrialists. 

"Modi is the leader of the billionaires and not the leader of the poor. Modi is scared of losing power and Modi starts lying when he gets scared. Modi's anxiety has increased after the corruption in electoral bonds was caught," alleged Gandhi.
