MVA to win more than 30 LS seats in Maha: Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson

Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Sushma Andhare claimed on Thursday that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) will likely win more than 30 Lok Sabha seats in coming elections in Maharashtra.

Addressing a press conference here this evening, she said that peoples has taken charge in this election, and this is evident from low voter turnout in first phase.

Launching a fierce attack on BJP, the Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson accused the central government of using state machinery like Enforcement Directorate and CBI to put pressure on opposition.

Ms Andhare said that she has already sent a reply to notice of Maharashtra Child Rights Protection Commission and alleged that the state government was trying to suppress her voice.

She criticised the Election Commission over its alleged bias attitude towards opposition in issuing notices of code of conduct violation but not taking similar action against Mahayuti leaders for allegedly distributing money in Thane despite proof in form of a video, she added.
