PM Modi 'challenged and changed' the culture of India's politics: Nadda

New Delhi, Feb 17 BJP National President J P Nadda on Saturday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that he has "challenged and changed" the very culture of the country's politics.
Addressing the BJP National Council meeting at the Bharat Mandapam here, Nadda said, "Today, Modi ji's stellar leadership is ensuring prosperity in the country through keeping 'GYAN' i.e Gareeb, Yuva, Annadata and Nari Shakti at the forefront of his focus".
Stating that the PM's leadership has truly transformed India in an unparallel way, he said that in the last 10 years, around 20 crore people have been lifted out of poverty. Adding that more than 80 crore beneficiaries were getting free food grains under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana.
"The story does not end here, on every front be it health, infrastructure, education or employment, Modiji's leadership is fulfilling dreams of every Indian," the BJP president said.
He said that Bharat under PM Modi was shining bright not only on the earth but also in the sky.
Nadda said that the successful culmination of G20 Presidency, to making the year 2023 International Year of Millets, a journey from Mangalyaan to Chandrayaan and each of such stellar achievements became a reality during the last 10 years only, under the leadership of PM Modi.
Talking about the women reservation Bill, the BJP Chief said it could not be passed during the last 30 years, but under PM Modi, The Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam was passed in just three days.
He said that the party had also completed a long ideological journey and BJP is the only party that has stuck to what it had said in 1951 and even in 2023-24.
"There is no political party, whose ideological foundation is stable," he added.
Nadda said that after 30 years, a government with absolute majority under Narendra Modi was formed in 2014. Just five years later, in 2019, a "poorna bahumat" government again under Modi was formed.
"Today, we state this with pride that hardwork and efforts of our party's leaders have turned our Adhiveshan into Maha Adhiveshan," the BJP leader said.
The two-day meeting which began here on Saturday will end on Sunday with the PM delivering his valedictory address.
