SBI Life organises Breast Cancer awareness programme for women officers of Mumbai Police
Insurance player SBI Life organised a breast cancer awareness programme under its ‘Thanks-A-Dot’ initiative for women officers of Mumbai Police, in association with Lion’s Club, on occasion of ‘International Women’s Day’ on Saturday here.
Mumbai, Mar 23 Insurance player SBI Life organised a breast cancer awareness programme under its ‘Thanks-A-Dot’ initiative for women officers of Mumbai Police, in association with Lion’s Club, on occasion of ‘International Women’s Day’ on Saturday here.
Speaking on occasion, Mahima Chaudhry, actor and breast cancer survivor, while praising SBI Life for organising breast cancer awareness programme, said, “Having battled breast cancer myself, she knows the significance and impact of early detection as it gives women the knowledge and training that they need to cultivate the habit of breast self-exams.”
According to WHO report, breast, oral and cervical cancers accounted for 32 per cent of new cases in India in 2024.
