Science City to host Canine Biodiversity show
Pushpa Gujral Science City is organising 17th and 18th Annual All Breed Dog show on February 4. The event will provide an informative and engaging platform for the general public to learn about the diverse gene pool within domesticated fauna.
Kapurthala, Jan 20 Pushpa Gujral Science City is organising 17th and 18th Annual All Breed Dog show on February 4. The event will provide an informative and engaging platform for the general public to learn about the diverse gene pool within domesticated fauna.
Coordinator of the event, scientist Dr Munish Soin said on Saturday more than 300 dogs of around 40 different breeds like German Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, Doberman pinscher, American bulldog, Boxer, Great Dane, Rottweiler etc. will be participating in the event.
He said Ms Risha Hemchandra from Bangalore, Harchand Singh from Patiala and NS Aujla from Jalandhar will be the Jury members for the show. An Exhibition on Domesticated Faunal Biodiversity will also be displayed on this occasion to provide information to general masses about this important gene pool.
