Uddhav Thackeray to address election rally in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on May 10

Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray will address election rally here on May 10 for May 13 poll.

According to party sources here on Tuesday, Thackeray will addresshis rally at 1800 hours on May 10 in support of UBT's candidate Chandrakant Khaire, who is trying his luck again from Aurangabad Lok Sabha constituency.

The late Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray had addressed several election rallies on this ground in the past elections.

Preparation for the rally is going on war footing and responsibilities have been assigned to all concerned party workers and leaders in order to make the rally a grand success.

Khaire is pitted against Shinde Sena's nominee Sandipan Bhumre and Sitting AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jaleel who was defeated by Khaire in 2019 election by a thin margin of over 4000 votes. In 2019 Shiv sena had alliance with BJP.

After breakup in Shiv sena in 2022 Thackeray UBT is constituent party of Maha Vikas Agadhi (MVA) while Shinde Sena is Constituent of Mahayuti led by BJP.

While Khaire has already completed the first round of his campaign in most of the villages and towns in the constituency, his opponent Bhumre and Jaleel are also busy meeting voters village-to-village and organising get togethers and corner meetings.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has already visited twice in this constituency for campaigning in support of Jaleel.
